This 1991 Chevrolet V10 Blazer Silverado was purchased new from Hammy Chevrolet in Perry, GA. The truck was originally finished in Summit White over Blue Custom Cloth interior. Powered by a 5.7L V8 gas engine mated to a 4-spd Automatic Transmission with overdrive. Chevrolet changed the full-size Blazer from its earlier C/K model designations to R/V for the 1987-1991 model years, making this a “V10 Blazer” rather than the commonly referred to “K5 Blazer” name.
This particular Cayman R was built, tested, and refined to make the “R” badge slightly more appropriate. This Cayman R has been further lightened with Sparco Seats and OZ wheels which allow for a larger than factory spec tire to increase front end grip.
The GT3 Brake Master paired with steel braided brake lines provides much more feel under heavy breaking. There is nothing to be ashamed of that this Cayman R has been tracked off and on during its life. Cosmetically the car presents itself well with very minimal chips or scratches throughout the body.
